WALLACE COLVARD moved to the desert after retiring from the entertainment industry in 2014. He has worked with major movie studios including Walt Disney Feature Animation, DreamWorks Anmimation and Sony Pictures Animation. He has many movies under his belt including Star Wars: Episode 1, Titanic, Dinosaur, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, Kung Fu Panda, and Monsters Vs. Aliens to name a few. He has one 7 Emmy's.
In examining his work, the viewer is sometimes struck by the appearance of simplicity and then, on further perusal, the complex shadings and color relationships make their presence known on a new vibrant level.
His large works are monotypes meaning they are each one of a kind and will not be reproduced and sold as fine art.
